A 5.8‑magnitude earthquake has struck Japan, according to the country's Meteorological Agency, Report informs.
The epicenter was located in Chiba Prefecture near Tokyo, with a depth of 50 kilometers.
No casualties or damage have been reported. A tsunami warning was issued immediately after the quake, but was lifted within minutes.
The tremors were also felt in Tokyo.
It is worth noting that on June 25, Japan experienced a 7.2‑magnitude earthquake that left 10 people injured.
