A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 struck the southern Greek island of Crete, Report informs, citing TASS.
The tremors were recorded at 18 km southeast of the city of Heraklion, which has a population of 137,000. The epicenter was located at a depth of 2 km. No casualties or damage have been reported so far.
Note that a strong, prolonged earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of at least 5.8 struck the Greek island of Crete on Monday.
