Lukashenko invites Xi Jinping to visit Belarus

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko invited Chinese President Xi Jinping to visit his country, according to the letter sent Saturday by Lukashenko congratulating his Chinese counterpart on the lunar new year, Report informs, citing foreign media.
"I invite Your Excellency to visit the Republic of Belarus, where you are known and appreciated as a true friend and where you will be given the warmest and most cordial welcome," Lukashenko said.
The president noted that "despite all the difficulties that the year of the tiger has brought," Belarus and China "have managed by joint efforts to make significant progress in building up Belarusian-Chinese cooperation.
