Lukashenko dismisses his son from office

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has dismissed his national security assistant Viktor Lukashenko, Report informs, referring to the press service of the head of state.
"Viktor Lukashenko has been relieved of his post as Assistant to the President of Belarus for National Security in connection with his transfer to an elective position," the statement says.
The press service added that Viktor Lukashenko has been awarded the regular military rank ‘Major General of the Reserve.'
