Baku. 24 January. REPORT.AZ / Events observed in Venezuela are yet another gross interference with the internal affairs of a state, Russian FM Sergey Lavrov said.
Report informs citing RIA Novosti that Lavrov commented on the results of talks with his Algerian counterpart Abdelkader Messahel.
"I would say that there is yet another gross interference in the internal affairs of a sovereign state. As you know, there were several attempts to remove Nicolas Maduro from power, including through his physical elimination," the Russian Foreign Minister said.
Notably, the speaker of Venezuelan parliament and opposition leader Juan Guido declared himself the interim president during a rally in Caracas on Wednesday.
