Large-scale strike to cost Finland €360M

The union strike planned for February 1 against labor market reforms in Finland will affect almost all areas of life in the country and cost the economy 360 million euros, Report informs with reference to various sources.
As many as 200,000 people plan to participate in the strike. Some businesses in the country will cease operations, retail stores and grocery chains will close, and public transportation will be stopped. Additionally, hotels, restaurants, banks, cleaning companies, post offices and delivery services will not operate in Finland. Air traffic will stop at almost all airports in the country.
According to Finnish economists, as a result of the strike, the country will suffer a loss of 360 million euros.
