The Jordanian Armed Forces intercepted and destroyed 20 missiles launched from Iran toward the kingdom's territory, the General Command of the Armed Forces said, Report informs via Jordanian state television.
According to an official military source, air defense systems and aircraft of the Royal Jordanian Air Force intercepted and destroyed 20 missiles launched today from Iran toward the Azraq district in Zarqa Governorate.
The falling missile debris caused no casualties or material damage.
"Army engineering units disposed of the missile debris to ensure there were no explosives," the statement said.
