Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken have discussed North Korean missile launches and ways for countries to cooperate against the backdrop of the deteriorating security situation in the region, Report informs referring to the Japanese Foreign Ministry.
The foreign ministers reaffirmed their position that such actions are a threat to the peace and stability of Japan, the region and the entire international community, the ministry said.
Earlier it was reported that North Korea launched the third ballistic missile in a day towards the Sea of Japan. This is the nineteenth launch of a ballistic missile this year.
