Italy, Belgium get temporary reprieve on imposition of EU sanctions against Russia

Italy and Belgium received two-year exemptions from the EU ban on the import of certain steel products from Russia, Report informs, citing TASS.
In addition, the new sanctions provide for a longer period for Malta to impose price cap on oil from the Russian Federation.
The EU countries agreed on a new package of sanctions against Russia. The eighth package of sanctions will be approved at the summit on October 7 in Prague.
