Israel says ready to implement Lebanon pilot zone agreements

Israel hopes ongoing talks with Lebanon in Rome will allow the implementation of an agreement on two "pilot zones" in southern Lebanon, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said, Report informs via The Times of Israel.
The agreement provides for the withdrawal of Israeli troops from those areas.
Saar told journalists that Israel was ready to begin implementing agreements on the two pilot zones and expressed hope that the current round of talks in Rome would help move the process forward.
The sixth round of talks between Israel and Lebanon begins in Rome today. The negotiations will last two days.
