Iraqi President Barham Salih has ratified a law banning the normalization of relations with Israel, Report informs with reference to the press service of the President of Iraq.
The Iraqi president supported the law criminalizing the normalization of relations with Israel.
A month ago, Iraq's Council of Representatives passed a law banning the normalization of relations with Israel. MPs unanimously voted on the bill criminalizing the normalization of relations with the Jewish state. In addition, Iraqi parliamentarians recently called on the League of Arab States to refrain from using the name of Israel in official documents.
