At least eight people were killed and 30 injured as a bus carrying Iranian pilgrims in Iraq crashed, Report informs citing TASS.
A bus with pilgrims arrived in Iraq through a checkpoint near the Iranian city of Mehran. The incident occurred near the border. The exact location of the accident is not reported.
Notably, every year thousands of pilgrims go to the shrines in Iraq’s Karbala during the annual mourning of Arbain, which coincides with October 19.
