Iranian president to tour African countries

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi will visit several African states before the end of September, head of the African Department of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Valiullah Mohammadi Nasrabadi, said.
"The president will make visits to a number of African states in the first half of this year [until September 22]," he said.
Meetings of bilateral commissions with Burundi, Kenya, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Tanzania and South Africa are also expected this year.
