Red level, which means the highest meteorological hazard, has been declared in the department of Bouches-du-Rhône in southern France due to heavy rainfall and the threat of flooding, Report informs referring to the French meteorological service Météo France.
According to experts, precipitation in some areas can be 200 millimeters or, in some cases, up to 240 millimeters.
Five departments in the same part of France have introduced orange levels due to heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and the possibility of flooding.
