More than 480,094 coronavirus patients lost lives worldwide, Report says.
Most fatal cases were recorded in The United States (123,476), Brazil (55,771), and the United Kingdom (42,927), while the number of confirmed cases globally has exceeded 9,369,000.
Notably, so far, 167 fell victim to the virus in Azerbaijan. So far, 13,715 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the country, 7,503 of those recovered.
Notably, the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) emerged in late 2019 in China’s Hubei province, and the virus has spread to more than 200 countries and territories since then.
On February 11, the WHO officially named the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) as COVID-19, and on March 11, declared it a pandemic.
