Germany to double military aid to Ukraine next year

Germany will double military aid to Ukraine to 8 billion euros in 2024, said Minister of State for European Affairs of Germany Anna Luhrmann, Report informs referring to RBC-Ukraine.
“The Federal Republic of Germany will double military support to Ukraine next year from 4 billion to 8 billion euros,” she said.
The minister emphasized that this week is a decisive week for the EU and Ukraine on the issue of starting membership negotiations.
Luhrmann added that Germany’s position on Ukraine’s European integration is clear. She noted that 26 EU members are in favor of starting negotiations.
