Germany supplies fewer missiles to Ukraine than promised

Ukraine has received only a small part of the number of Strela anti-aircraft missiles that Germany planned to supply to it.

Report informs citing the German newspaper Welt am Sonntag that only 500 Strela anti-aircraft missiles were delivered to Ukraine, while Germany initially planned to supply 2,700 such missiles. The newspaper emphasizes that no new deliveries of Strela anti-aircraft missiles are planned to Ukraine.

The German Ministry of Defense, in response to a request from the publication, only confirmed that the deliveries of missiles had already taken place, the department did not provide details.
