Coronavirus: Germany’s death toll reaches seven thousand

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has increased by 947 per day, 165 people died, Report says, citing RIA Novosti.

According to Robert Koch Institute, the country’s death toll from Covid-19 rose by 165 to 6,996, while the total number of recoveries was around 137,400.

The largest number of cases were recorded in Bavaria (43,371), North Rhine-Westphalia (33,977) and Baden-Württemberg (32,576). Berlin has confirmed 6,092 coronavirus cases so far.
