Germany records almost 25,000 COVID cases per day

Germany recorded 24,884 new cases of coronavirus infection and 331 COVID-related deaths over the past day, Report informs, citing the Robert Koch Institute of the Federal German Health Ministry.
According to the institute, 3,188,192 people have contracted the novel coronavirus in Germany.
To date, the country’s COVID death toll has exceeded 80,000.
A day earlier, the country reported 9,609 new cases and 297 deaths.
On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the outbreak of the new coronavirus infection a pandemic.
