Germany may face shortage of medical products

Germany may face a shortage of medical products if the UK leaves the European Union under a "tough" scenario, in other words, without a deal, German Minister of Health Jens Spahn said.

Report informs citing the Handelsblatt that, according to him, with such a development of events, pacemakers, products for the study of blood samples and implant models will have to re-obtain a license.

Tens of thousands of medical products could lose their if no "practicable procedures” were found, Spahn said.
