Germany imposes travel bans on 18 Saudis

Baku. 19 November. REPORT.AZ/ Germany has imposed travel bans on 18 Saudi officials suspected of involvement in the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, foreign minister Heiko Maas said on Monday, Report informs citing THMHaber.
Earlier, German Chancellor Angela Merkel has said under current circumstances it is not possible to export weapons to Saudi Arabia.
Notably, the prosecutor of the criminal proceedings in Saudi Arabia requested death penalty for five of the 11 suspects charged with murder.
Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi was killed at the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul on October 2 this year. His body has not been found yet.
