German MP calls for exit from European Union

Tino Chrupalla, co-chairman of the nationalist and right-wing populist political party Alternative for Germany, called on the country to leave the European Union and create a "new European space," Report informs via Die Welt.
Germany needs to leave the current EU, which simply cannot be reformed. Chrupalla said.
However, fellow politician Jörg Meuthen is in no hurry to approve the idea and considers it "poorly thought out."
Germany intends to become a permanent member of the UN Security Council. Berlin believes that the UN Security Council does not reflect the current state of international relations and favors expanding the number of permanent members.
