"Violent protests and unrest in Washington and throughout the country should be taken into account, especially in the metropolitan areas and capitals of 50 states."
According to the German Foreign Ministry, the security situation in the United States can change very quickly at any time until January 20.
The German Foreign Ministry recommends that citizens of the Federal Republic of Germany who are in the United States should bypass government quarters in the administrative centers of American states, and also avoid mass actions.
