German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas has reacted to the Taliban's statement on banning evacuations from Afghanistan after August 31.
Report informs, citing Al-Arabiya, that the minister did not rule out that the evacuation could continue after August 31.
"After August 31, evacuation options from Afghanistan may change. We are negotiating with the Taliban in this regard. Details are also being discussed with Afghanistan's neighbors and our international partners. It is possible that after August 31, the process will not continue as a military operation, but, for example, in the form of special civil flights. Another option is to take people out of Afghanistan by land," he said.
