German chancellor says Russian gas supplies no longer reliable

German Chancellor Olaf Scholtz said that gas supplies from Russia could no longer be relied upon.

Report informs, citing ZEIT, that the chancellor considers Russia a dangerous gas supplier. According to him, the supply in the future will not be more secure than it is now.

"As a country, we will do our best to get out of this situation," he stressed.

The German authorities started the alarm mode earlier due to the reduction of gas reserves and supplies. At the same time, the gas prices in the country have risen.
