Gerardo Werthein appointed as Argentina's new foreign minister

Gerardo Werthein, Argentina's Ambassador to the United States, has been appointed as the country's new Foreign Minister, Manuel Adorni, the spokesperson for the President of Argentina, said in a post on the social media platform X.

Werthein's appointment comes as a part of a cabinet reshuffle, confirming the resignation of the outgoing Foreign Minister, Diana Mondino.
