Gasoline prices in the Czech Republic, after a slight decline that occurred at the end of March after their sharp jump at the end of February, have been growing for more than a month.

Meanwhile, the cost of diesel fuel has slightly decreased in the country over the past two weeks, Report informs referring to the Czech commercial company CCS, which since 2005 has been collecting daily data on the cost of gasoline at gas stations of the republic.

“The cost of one liter of gasoline at the gas stations of the republic over the past week has increased significantly - by an average of 0.91 kroons, to 46.21 kroons (about $2.1). At the same time, the price of diesel fuel has decreased - by 0.16 kroons, to 46.19 crowns per liter,” the company said.

The maximum level of the cost of automotive fuel reached in the Czech Republic on March 10. On that day, at gas stations in the country, liter of gasoline cost an average of 46.64 crowns (about $2.15 at the exchange rate at the beginning of March), and liter of diesel fuel - 49.3 crowns (about $2.35).

Experts do not rule out the possibility of another rise in price if the world market increases fears about the lack of oil, which is due, in particular, to the situation around Ukraine.
