France reports five new cases of coronavirus infection

There is a child among those infected.

France has confirmed five new cases of infection with the novel coronavirus, country's Minister of Social Affairs and Health Agnes Buzen said on Saturday.

"We have recorded five new cases of virus infection in France," she said, adding that there is a child among the five new coronavirus patients. The total number of infected has climbed to 11.

Authorities earlier reported six cases of infection with the novel coronavirus.
