A fire broke out at the State Bearing Plant in the Russian city of Penza following a reported Ukrainian drone attack, according to Russian Telegram channels cited by RBC-Ukraine.
According to Report, a missile alert was declared in Penza, with air raid sirens sounding across the city before residents reported hearing several explosions.
Local authorities said Russian air defense systems were repelling a drone attack but did not immediately provide details on any damage.
Russian Telegram channels reported heavy smoke rising from the area of the State Bearing Plant, indicating that a fire had broken out on the factory's premises.
There has been no official confirmation of damage or casualties.
