Fire breaks out at refinery in western Libya after strike

A fire broke out at an oil refinery in the city of Zawiya in western Libya after a strike, Report informs, citing Al Marsad.

According to the portal, a fuel tank was destroyed in the attack, and a fire was recorded at the refinery.

No other details of the incident were provided.

Earlier, clashes broke out between armed groups near the refinery in Zawiya, killing at least four people.

Zawiya, located west of Tripoli, is considered one of the key centers of western Libya. The city is home to the country's largest oil refinery.
