Finland extending travel restrictions

Finland is extending border restrictions on entry to the country due to the coronavirus pandemic for a number of countries, Report informs referring to TASS.
“The pandemic continues. The achieved vaccination rates are still considered insufficient, and the danger of overloading the healthcare system still exists. In this regard, it is necessary to extend the current decision on restrictions until October 10 [previously it was in effect until September 19],” the statement said.
The restrictions are primarily for tourism travel from third (non-EU) countries.
