Fighter jet crashes in Pakistan

An F-16 fighter jet of Pakistan Air Force has crashed near the Shakarparian Hills in Islamabad’s vicinity, Report informs via the country’s GeoTV.
Police and rescuers have arrived at the crash site. Currently, firefighters are trying to eliminate the fire resulting from the crash.
The aircraft was performing a scheduled flight in anticipation of the military parade to be held on March 23.
The aircraft’s pilot died as a result of the crash. The jet presumably crashed as a bird flew into its engine.
