Explosion hits Afghanistan: 8 dead, 11 injured

8 people were killed and 11 were injured as a result of the explosion in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, Report informs citing RIA Novosti.
It was reported that the incident took place in Jalalabad city of Nangarhar province on June 13. By the information, the explosion was committed by a suicide-bomber.
Earlier, it was reported on the explosion near the checkpoint.
