European Parliament to expand cooperation with EaP countries

"The main goal of the Eastern Partnership is to bring the European Union closer to its partners and deepen collaboration," European Parliament President David Sassoli said in his speech at the ninth session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly.
According to him, the next Eastern Partnership summit will develop a new vision for the well-being and sustainable improvement of citizens:
"New approaches, mechanisms, and models can be revealed. I assure you that the European Parliament will fully join this process. We are ready to strengthen cooperation with all stakeholders."
