At least seven patients died, while seven medical staff members wounded on Monday when a fire erupted in a private hospital in the Egyptian northern coastal city of Alexandria, Report says, citing RIA Novosti.
"Firefighters extinguished a huge fire at the hospital that is likely caused by an electrical circuit malfunction," the source said anonymously.
"The smoke killed seven patients due to suffocation."
The other patients who were not affected by accident were transferred to other hospitals.
