The European Commission has announced an additional €120 million in humanitarian aid for residents of the Gaza Strip.
Report informs via AFP that these funds will be used for food purchases, medical and housing assistance, as well as support for water supply.
"Today we are also approving a €120 million package of measures for the Gaza Strip to deal with the ongoing humanitarian crisis there," EC spokesperson Eva Hrncirova told reporters. Thus, the amount of humanitarian aid sent by the EU to the enclave since 2023 has exceeded €450 million.
