Ebola death toll in Congo rises to 2,786

The death toll from Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo has reached 2,786, according to the latest statement from the country's National Institute of Public Health, Report informs.

"Anti-epidemic measures continue across six provinces. A total of 5,794 confirmed cases have been recorded, of which 1,293 people have recovered, 2,786 have died, and 843 patients remain isolated or hospitalized," the statement noted.
