Earthquake strikes near US-Mexico border

A preliminary magnitude 5.5 earthquake struck Friday in Alberto Oviedo Mota in Baja California near the US-Mexico border, Report informs citing foreign media.
The US Geological Survey (USGS) said the quake was reported at 7:52 p.m., just south of Mexico.
It was recorded at a depth of about 20 miles.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
