Czech PM urges to expand Schengen area

The Schengen agreement on the free movement of citizens and goods needs to be expanded to include Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, and Serbia, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis told reporters on Sept. 1, Report informs referring to TASS.
The prime minister stressed that the EU doesn’t have a clear strategy for combating illegal migration and expanding the Schengen zone at the expense of the countries of the western part of the Balkan Peninsula.
Babis intends to raise these issues at the international political science conference ‘Strategic Forum’, which began on Sept. 1 in the Slovenian city of Bled, where he flew from Prague.
