Construction of Bayraktar drone plant in Ukraine to be over in a year and half

The Turkish company Baykar expects to complete the construction of its drone production plant in Ukraine in a year and a half, the general director of the company, Haluk Bayraktar, said at the military industry forum in Kyiv, Report informs via TASS.
“Construction has already begun. It will take approximately 1.5 years to complete. We expect that at least 300 people will work there,” the Ukrinform agency quoted him.
According to the general director, the company is investing about $100 million in Ukraine. These funds, in addition to the construction of the plant, will be used to maintain the service center and the company’s main office in Ukraine.
