Colombia landslide death toll rises to 17

The death toll from a landslide in the Mallama municipality area in southwestern Colombia has risen to 17, according to the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management, Report informs referring to TASS.
“The movement of earth layers led to the death of 17 people, eight were injured, seven of them have already been discharged from hospitals. There have been no reports of missing persons,” the organization tweeted. “Two buildings have been destroyed, and three more are under threat of collapse.”
Earlier, 14 people were reported dead and at least 20 were unaccounted for.
The authorities ensure the delivery of assistance to the affected area.
