China to provide developing countries with $3B to fight COVID pandemic

Chinese President Xi Jinping said China will provide an additional $3 billion in international aid over the next three years to support COVID-19 response and economic and social recovery in other developing countries, Report informs referring to Xinhua.
Xi made the announcement when speaking at the Global Health Summit via video in Beijing on May 21.
He noted that China has so far delivered 300 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines to various countries and intends to supply foreign partners with even more of these jabs. The government is also promoting the transfer of vaccine production technologies to developing countries.
