China imposes sanctions on Lithuanian deputy minister of transport for visiting Taiwan

The Chinese authorities have imposed sanctions on Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of Lithuania Agne Vaiciukeviciute for her visit to Taiwan, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Report informs referring to TASS.

The Foreign Ministry noted that China is suspending cooperation with the Lithuanian Ministry of Transport.

"This trip is a serious interference in the internal politics of the PRC, infringement of the sovereignty and violation of the territorial integrity of our country," it says.
