Cambodia reports first case of coronavirus infection

Cambodia has reported the first case of a novel coronavirus infection.

Report informs, citing foreign media, that a Chinese citizen arriving in Cambodia was diagnosed with a new type of pneumonia, caused by 2019 nCoV.

On December 31, Chinese authorities informed the World Health Organization (WHO) of an outbreak of the never-seen-before virus in Wuhan, a large trade and industrial center of China with a population of more than 11 million people. On January 7, Chinese specialists revealed the source of the disease - coronavirus 2019-nCoV.

The new virus has already taken 80 lives in China. Several other countries, including Australia, Vietnam, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, Singapore, the United States, Thailand, France, and Japan, also reported cases of coronavirus infection.
