British Container ship damaged off Oman coast, fire breaks out onboard

A container ship was damaged approximately 16 kilometers east of Oman's coast, triggering a fire onboard, the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) center said.
According to UKMTO, the vessel sustained damage to its stern, which led to the outbreak of a fire on deck.
The incident occurred about 16 kilometers off the Omani coast. No further details on the cause of the damage or possible casualties were immediately available.
