In the last 12 months, the British government has ousted three Chinese spies who described themselves as 'journalists', Report informs, citing Telegraph.
Sources in the British government say that the three Chinese nationals who came to Britain as employees of three different media outlets are, in fact, members of the Ministry of State Security.
According to the publication, MI5 (British counter-intelligence-ed.) revealed their identities and then forced them to leave the country.
The British government intends to revise the law on espionage. The law will be discussed in parliament with tightened and expanded amendments. The next session of the British Parliament will begin in May.
