Borrell: EU to mull imposing sanctions against those responsible for Navalny’s death

Foreign ministers of 27 EU countries will discuss the introduction of sanctions against those responsible for the death of Alexei Navalny, the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said upon arrival at a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels, Report informs referring to TASS.
Member countries will definitely propose to impose sanctions against those responsible for the death of Alexei Navalny, he said, answering a corresponding question.
On February 16, the department of the Federal Penitentiary Service for the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug reported that Navalny died in correctional colony No. 3. The Investigative Committee began an investigation into the death of the politician.
