Bomb blast kills woman in northern Colombia

A bomb blast has rocked northern Colombia, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.

Jorge Luis Vargas Valencia, Director of Criminal Investigation and INTERPOL Directorate for the Colombia Police, wrote on his Twitter page that the incident took place on the Cucuta El Escobal highway. One woman was killed, while four others, including two traffic police officers, were injured in an explosion on a road patrol.

The police chief condemned the incident noting that a search had been initiated for those involved in the blast.
