Boeing 737-800, flying from the Yakut city of Mirny to Moscow, landed at the airport of Syktyvkar, according to preliminary data, due to the failure of the aircraft engine, Report informs citing the RIA Novosti.

According to the representative of the North-Western Investigation Department on transport of the UK, at present the pre-investigation check is carried out. By the preliminary version, the reason of the forced landing was the engine failure.

He also added that at present, the airplane is in Syktyvkar airport.

"None of the passengers was injured, all alive and well," representative of the Department said. The number of passengers is not specified.
