The current head of Afghanistan, Ashraf Ghani, has been sworn in as a president of the country in Kabul, Report informs with reference to TOLOnews, the Afghan TV channel.
The presidential election in Afghanistan was held last September. Ghani was officially declared the winner only on February 18, 2020. According to the results of the Independent Electoral Commission, he received 50.64 percent of the vote.
Ashraf Ghani will serve as the president of Afghanistan for the second term in a row.
